Frequently Asked Questions
We accept luxury handbags, apparel, jewelry, accessories, sunglasses, and footwear in new or like-new condition. All items must be seasonal, current styles, and generally less than two years old. Couture and rare pieces are considered individually.
You may start by sending us photos via Instagram DM or by calling the boutique to schedule an appointment. Our team will review your items and advise you on next steps.
Yes. Every item is carefully authenticated by our trained team. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for counterfeit goods.
Pricing is based on current market trends, brand desirability, condition, original retail value, and comparable resale pricing. While we welcome your pricing preferences, we recommend pricing that encourages strong sell-through.
Standard items remain on consignment for up to 90 days with scheduled markdowns. Couture or exceptional pieces may remain for 120 days. After this period, couture items may be retrieved with 24-hour notice.
At the end of the consignment period, you may:
- Retrieve the item, or
- Approve continued markdown discounts (if applicable), or
- Allow the item to be donated to charity
If you do not pick up the item within the required timeframe, it may be donated.
Payouts are issued once your item has sold and the sale has fully processed. We will notify you when your payout is ready.
We take exceptional care of every item entrusted to us; however, POSH CONSIGNMENT BY V is not responsible for damage or loss caused by fire, theft, vandalism, water, wear and tear, or circumstances beyond our control. High-value items should remain covered by your personal insurance.
Yes. If you choose to withdraw an item before the end of the consignment period, a small processing fee may apply to cover authentication, handling, and presentation costs.
