Our Acceptance Standards
To maintain the elevated quality of our collection, all items must meet the following criteria:
- Seasonal, current styles
- In immaculate, ready-to-display condition — cleaned, pressed, and presented on a hanger
- Less than 2 years old, unless deemed couture or archival.
We proudly accept designer handbags, apparel, shoes (new or like-new), sunglasses, accessories, and fine or fashion jewelry.
Our clientele consistently seeks high-demand luxury Maisons including:
Chanel, Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Gucci, Fendi, Saint Laurent, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Christian Louboutin, and other premier designers.
Couture and exceptional pieces are evaluated individually and may be offered extended consignment consideration.
Pricing & Markdown Schedule
Your items will be displayed at their full agreed-upon value for the first 30 days. Thereafter, standard markdowns apply:
- Day 30: 25% reduction
- Day 60: 50% reduction
- Day 90: 75% reduction or donation to charity
Couture Items: If unsold after 120 days, they may be retrieved with 24-hour advanced notice.
Care & Liability
While your items are displayed with the utmost respect and handled with professional care, we cannot assume responsibility for loss or damage resulting from:
- Fire
- Theft
- Vandalism
- Water
- Wear and Tear
- Events beyond our control
We strongly recommend that high-value pieces remain covered under your personal insurance, as they are not insured by our boutique.

We accept luxury handbags, apparel, jewelry, accessories, sunglasses, and footwear in new or like-new condition. All items must be seasonal, current styles, and generally less than two years old. Couture and rare pieces are considered individually.

Yes. Every item is carefully authenticated by our trained team. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for counterfeit goods.
Pricing is based on current market trends, brand desirability, condition, original retail value, and comparable resale pricing. While we welcome your pricing preferences, we recommend pricing that encourages strong sell-through.
Standard items remain on consignment for up to 90 days with scheduled markdowns. Couture or exceptional pieces may remain for 120 days. After this period, couture items may be retrieved with 24-hour notice.
At the end of the consignment period, you may:
- Retrieve the item, or
- Approve continued markdown discounts (if applicable), or
- Allow the item to be donated to charity
If you do not pick up the item within the required timeframe, it may be donated.
Payouts are issued once your item has sold and the sale has fully processed. We will notify you when your payout is ready.
We take exceptional care of every item entrusted to us; however, POSH CONSIGNMENT BY V is not responsible for damage or loss caused by fire, theft, vandalism, water, wear and tear, or circumstances beyond our control. High-value items should remain covered by your personal insurance.
Yes. If you choose to withdraw an item before the end of the consignment period, a small processing fee may apply to cover authentication, handling, and presentation costs.
